Arjun walks the ramp for Rohit Bal

Flamboyant designer Rohit Bal jazzed up the finale of the Synergy 1 Delhi Couture Week on Monday night, with showstopper actor Arjun Rampal in all-black. The runway evoked the mood of Rohit Bal's collection titled “Shanti”, decorated with jasmine flowers as a soothing piano symphony played in the background.

Arjun's entry was greeted with loud applause, reminiscent of his days as a supermodel, as he walked the ramp with trademark style and attitude.

Arjun said: "Walking for Rohit has always been wonderful. He is the one who discovered me in a nightclub, gave me a great platform to start off and gave me lot of confidence. He has taught me a lot about fashion and I can never say no to him."

His collection displayed his signature style - floral motifs in different patterns on the garments. The collection had a rich look with extensive use of zippers.

The colour palate included whites, golden, blacks, blues and purples. The collection included gowns, jackets, overcoats, lehengas.

At the end, Rohit was seen dancing his way down to join the models donning his outfits. He also showered jasmine flowers petals on the guests and the models.

Sonam Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha catwalked at the Delhi Couture Week 2011 for designers Manish Malhotra and Shantanu-Nikhil respectively. Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore too wasn't far behind as as she walked the ramp for Ashima-Leena.

Dabangg girl Sonakshi ruled the ramp at Delhi Couture Week.

Sonakshi was the showstopper for Shantanu and Nikhil's show. Sonakshi also tweeted saying, "Stopping the show for @shantanunikhil at couture week. After all my ramp fiascos, trust these crazy guys to get me to walk for them, hehehe"

Sonam Kapoor walked the ramp for Manish Malhotra. After the show Sonam tweeted, "My fourth walk down the ramp for @ManishMalhotra1 for delhi couture week ! I was the show starter this time."

Sharmila Tagore walks the ramp for Ashima and Leena.

The veteran actress looked as graceful as ever.

Urmila Matondkar was there to cheer for her best friend and designer Manish Malhotra.
