As Sridevi Begins Her Final Journey, Her Beloved Mumbai Comes To Standstill. Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor, stepson Arjun Kapoor, nephew Mohit Marwah, lead the funeral procession.
After the condolence meet, this morning, Sridevi has been taken for her final journey to the crematorium at Vile Parle, for her funeral rites. For the funeral procession, Sridevi was wrapped in the national flag.
Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor, stepson Arjun Kapoor, brothers-in-law Anil and Sanjay Kapoor and nephew Mohit Marwah, were by her side in her final journey.
Sridevi had died of accidental drowning in her hotel bathtub in Dubai, on February 24. The news of her sudden death was confirmed by her brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor, who flew back to Dubai to be with Boney Kapoor.
Sridevi was in Dubai, last week in attendance to her nephew Mohit Marwah and Antara Motiwala's wedding celebrations. Most members of the Kapoor family, including Boney and Khushi Kapoor had returned to Mumbai, except Sridevi.
