Indian Idol 6 judge Asha Bhosle will soon be seen judging another reality show, Sur Kshetra, along with legendary sufi singers Runa Laila from Bangladesh and Abida Parveen from Pakistan. The show is a sing-off between contestants from Indian and Pakistan.

All the three judges were spotted in Mumbai promoting the show. -
The show, which will start airing on September 8, is currently making headlines because Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has objected to the presence of singers from Pakistan and Bangladesh.
In response to an MNS letter asking her not to be a part of the show, Ashaji said she was only a singer and not a politician. -
Himesh Reshammiya will be the mentor for the Indian participants. Himesh has walked out of Soham Shah's upcoming film Sher after Vivek Oberoi joined the cast, to honour his friendship with Salman Khan.

Well-known ghazal singer Abida Parveen, who has won awards like President of Pakistan's Award for Pride of Performance in 1982 and the Sitara-e-Imtiaz award in 2005, will join the panel of judges on the show.
