Asha Parekh And Others At Actress Shammi's Funeral

Asha Parekh attended the funeral of veteran actress Shammi in Mumbai on Tuesday. Best known for her roles in many sitcoms of the Nineties, Shammi aunty (as she was popularly known as) died in Mumbai on Tuesday. She was 89. Asha Parekh was one of the late actress' close friends from the industry.

Filmmaker Farah Khan arrived with Boman Irani.

Farida Jalal also dropped by to pay her last respects.

Earlier on Tuesday, Priya Dutt, Sanjay Dutt's sister, mourned Shammi aunty's death on Twitter. "May her soul rest in peace and her laughter and contagious smile rock the heavens," she wrote.

Anju Mahendru was also part of Shammi's last rites.

TV actor Imran Khan was also spotted.

So was Sushant Singh.

Annu Kapoor also paid a last tribute.
