Debutante Akshara Haasan, who will be seen playing a director in the film, wrapped herself against the winter chill in a lavender T-shirt, black jacket, blue skinny jeans and boots.

Big B was incharacter, looking dapper in an opera-style jacket. Director R Balki has never shied away from experimenting with Big B's look in his films, be it Cheeni Kum or Paa, and here again he bowled us over with the old-fashioned cinema vibe.

He said, "I get to experiment with my roles in Hindi cinema." -

Big B became a bathroom singer at the do after having announced on Twitter that he would be singing playback for the film. He had written, "Balki and Shamitabh meet. Got to sing another song aarrrgghh !! I am hopeless at this. But guess will have to do it!!"

Veteran actress Sarika, who was last seen on TV with Big B in Anurag Kashyap's show Yudh, was present to bear witness to her daughter's first big moment in Bollywood.
