Actor Amitabh Bachchan, whose iconic film Sholay's 40th anniversary coincided with the 69th year of India's independence, attended a press conference in Mumbai on August 14.

The actor, who played the role of Jai in the film, recalled his memories of filming Sholay.

The same day, Mr Bachchan also attended a students' exchange program in a suburban hotel.
