Big B Finally Gets a Gig on Radio; Shraddha Promotes ABCD 2

Once upon a time, megastar Amitabh Bachchan was rejected by All India Radio (due to his baritone voice) to be their radio jockey. However, he was welcomed with open arms by a leading radio station in Mumbai on May 13, where he took the promotion of his recently released film Piku.

Big B was dressed in his usual kurta pyjama style and shawl.

Mr Bachchan, who missed out on the pre-release promotions due to health issues, looked more than happy to promote the film, especially, when it has set the box office in 'motion'.

Meanwhile, actress Shraddha Kapoor was spotted at the promotions of her upcoming dance film Any Body Can Dance 2 in Mumbai's Disney studio on May 13. Her co-star, actor Varun Dhawan gave this leg of promotions a miss.

Shraddha looked pretty in a multi-colour striped skirt paired with a complementary top and blue strap heels.

A day before, Shraddha was spotted at a recording studio with Varun, where they reportedly recorded a rap song for ABCD 2.

Now a singing pro, the Galliyan singer was all smiles as she recorded the song.

However, Varun looked tad bit nervous.

In another part of the town on May 12, a bevy of celebrities converged to watch Zoya Akhtar's upcoming family drama film Dil Dhadakne Do. Actress Malaika Arora Khan, dressed in jammies and tee, posed for the shutterbugs.

Actress Amrita Arora 'checked' in with her husband Shakeel Ladakh.

Actor-producer Sanjay Kapoor also called it a date night with wife Maheep, who wore distressed denims and checked shirt.

Ritesh Sidhwani, who has co-produced Dil Dhadakne Do with Farhan Akhtar, was also in attendance.

Actor Chunky Pandey came minus his wife, Bhawna.
