Big B's grand namaste on 71st birthday

Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, who turned 71 on October 11, came out of his Mumbai residence, Jalsa, to greet his fans waiting to catch a glimpse of the megastar and wish him on his special day.

In this picture, Big B greets all his fans by saying a big namaste to all of them.

Dressed in a simple kurta-pajyama, Mr Bachchan waves out to all his fans.

Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his 71st birthday early on the sets of his television show Kaun Banega Crorepati in Mumbai. Mintu Jadhav, a contestant from Vadodara gifted him with a miniature bel-gadi or bullock cart and also expressed her desire of taking a belgadi ride with the actor. Mr Bachchan's birthday is on October 11.

Neha Dubey, a contestant on the show from Kolkata, gave Mr Bachchan a certificate which said 'World's Best Motivator' and had the actor's picture on it.

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently had his very own Titanic moment. But Mr Bachchan didn't strike the pose with his wife Jaya. Neither did he have to go on board a ship. The moment was created on the sets of the show Kaun Banega Crorepati when a contestant, Deepa Sharma, requested the mega-star to pose with her the same way Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif did in the movie Singh is Kinng. Both struck the romantic pose from the movie and also did the iconic pose from Titanic.

Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan shook hands with Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council Chairman C Rangarajan in Jodhpur on Monday, September 30. The actor visited Jodhpur National University where he was awarded an honorary doctorate for his contribution in the field of cinema .

Mr Bachchan also attended the inauguration of ‘Yes! I Am The Change' film festival in Mumbai on October 1.

Amitabh Bachchan, who was suited up for the event, addressed those present at the festival.

Amitabh Bachchan spent his Sunday in the company of dog lovers and their pets at the Pawsitive Peoples' Awards in Mumbai on September 22.

Big B, whose beloved pet dog Shanouk died in June this year, posed with the Mumbai police bomb detection squad's sniffer dog, Max, at the award function.
