Bipasha's open house on birthday eve
Stars like Sikander Kher, Aftab Shivdasani, Jackky Bhagnani and Abhay Deol dropped by Mukhtangan, Bipasha Basu's house at Khar in Mumbai, where the actress celebrated her birthday.

This year Bipasha Basu may as well have celebrated her birthday a day ahead. The former model stars in action flick Players which released yesterday, (January 6) the day before her birthday. And judging from the slew of fan messages on her Twitter page, the party has already begun.

Back to films, Raaz 3, produced by Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt, is scheduled to release in August this year. The first installment in 2002, Raaz, was a hit and Bipasha received her first Best Actress nomination at the Filmfare Awards for her role in the film. Bipasha did not feature in the sequel released in 2009 (Raaz - The Mystery Continues). She returns to the franchise after a decade.

For now, it looks like Bipasha will wrap up 2012 pretty much in the way it began for her. Action flick Race 2, sequel to the 2008 hit flick Race, is scheduled to release in November this year. Race 2 will be directed by Abbas-Mustan. However, Bipasha will be seen in a cameo in the film.
