Brittany Murphy dies at 32

Hollywood and her fans worldwide are shocked by the sudden death of Brittany Murphy. The actress who celebrated her 32nd birthday last month, apparently died of a heart attack. However the underlying cause of her death is still unknown. Ashton Kutcher, who used to be married to Brittany at one time, Tweeted about her untimely death: "2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittanys family, her husband and her amazing mother Sharon." While Kutcher married Demi Moore after his break-up, Murphy had tied the knot with British screenwriter Simon Monjack. According to reports, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to 'a medical request' at 8 a.m. on December 20, 2009 at the West Hollywood home Murphy and Monjack shared. She had apparently collapsed in a bathroom. Firefighters attempted to resuscitate Murphy on the scene and she was subsequently transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 10:04 a.m. after going into cardiac arrest.
