Pooja Bedi and her father Kabir Bedi too had to deal with a two tragedies one after the other. Pooja's brother Siddharth, who was suffering from schizophrenia, committed suicide in 1997 and in 1998 her mother Protima Bedi died in a landslide while a pilgrimage to Kailash Mansarovar.
