Aaradhya Bachchan looks every bit the pampered cherub as she poses for a picture with happy parents Abhishek and Aishwarya.

True to their word, the Bachchans kept Aaradhya's first birthday a private affair. However, doting grandad Amitabh Bachchan posted these pictures of his granddaughter with her parents Abhishek and Aishwarya on Twitter.

We showed you pictures of little Aaradhya Bachchan at an event honouring her mother Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on November 1. Here's a better look at the almost-one-year old toddler.

Just days away from her first birthday, Aaradhya now gets more attention than her famous mother. And Ash, who was careful to keep her bundle of joy shielded from the paparazzi till just a month or two ago, now seems only too happy to let us have a good look at the little cutie now. With papa Abhishek's dark eyes, Aaradhya was ready for her close-up in a pink and white frock and floral hairband at the event where Aishwarya received the prestigious French Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters for her contribution to the arts.

Aishwarya Rai was conferred upon a civilian award by the French government for her contribution to the arts on the occasion of her birthday.

We got a good look at Aishwarya's 11-month-old daughter Aaradhya, who was also attending the function.

Aaradhya was dressed in white - with proper hair accessories.

Mr Richier conferred the honour of prestigious 'Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters' on her at a special function attended by the entire Bachchan family except Jaya Bachchan.

She also thanked her family for their support and expressed her gratitude towards her colleagues.

"I want to thank every professional who I have worked with and who made it possible for me to have such a glorious career," she said.
