Finally, Ash in a sari we like

The last time we saw Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in a sari was at the Cannes Film Festival in May this year. And we didn't really take to the Abu-Sandeep cream creation that Ash rather unwisely wore with a jacket rather than a choli. And while she goes with long sleeves for this monochrome number at a Longines store launch in Hyderabad, we quite like this take on thetraditional outfit.

Ash kept it simple in an off-white Shahab Durazi sari with black border.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who has been the ambassador for watch brand Longines for 13 years, shows off one of their watches.

Ash wore her normally wavy hair straight, but stuck to her trademark smoky eyes and rose lips.

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan released a new book by sarod maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan called My Father, Our Fraternity in Mumbai. The veteran actor was accompanied by his son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Big B wrote on his blog: "The great sarod maestro, a favorite instrument of mine, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan writes a book on his Guru his Father the distinguished musician Ustad Haafiz Ali Khan and asks me to launch it at a ceremony here tonight."

Ash, who was spotted at the unveiling of a jewellery store last week, was stunning as always.
