Aamir Khan who has been keeping a low profile since he announced the birth of his son, was finally seen in public on Friday at the launch of the biography of badminton ace, Pullela Gopichand. Champion badminton player Saina Nehwal was present too.
Aamir says the final choice of name for their son was left to wife Kiran who picked the name Azad, after his great grand uncle Maulana Azad, the great freedom fighter, whom the family is most proud of.
“Azad means free or liberated. We want to thank everyone for their warm wishes and blessings, and needless to say we are absolutely overjoyed and feel most blessed. Much love. a," Aamir posted.
