Here's another reason to be excited about the Big 70th birthday party – our first real look at 11-month-old Aaradhya Bachchan. The Bachchans walked the red carpet without little Aaradhya who was there but asleep in a room, Aishwarya said. But, once inside, the tiny tot was allowed to enjoy the party and looked very festive, if a little bemused, in a white dress and hair ornament.

Ash told NDTV that travelling with Aaradhya was no more hectic than normal. She said: : "Hectic is redefined with every changing phase of my life but it is just blissful, it is amazing and I am just so happy. I am not complaining, this has been the way of life for so long now. From your adult life, from the time you have stepped out and get working, multi-tasking, working round the clock. People talk about sleepless nights but that's the way of life for us anyway. Can't be complaining when it comes to your baby. No way, no way." (Photo credit: Abaca/Barcroft Media)
