France's First lady Carla Bruni was snapped with French President Nicolas Sarkozy and their newborn daughter Giulia as they were spotted strolling through parkland around the Palace of Versailles.

Photographers caught a brief glimpse of Giulia with her famous parents on Monday morning (October 31) when French President Nicolas Sarkozy and First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy went for a stroll on the grounds of the Presidential Palace of Versailles.

Giulia was seen a few days ago when her mother whisked her away from the La Muette Clinic in Paris, where she gave birth.

Carla gave birth to Giulia late on October 19, 2011 in Paris and French President Nicolas Sarkozy has described the birth as a "profound but private joy". This is her first child with husband, President Nicolas Sarkozy.
The First Lady kept a low public profile during her pregnancy and even maintained that the French public had little interest in the pregnancy.
The supermodel-turned-singer put plans to finish her third album on hold but she pledged the baby wouldn't derail her career.
Carla Bruni-Sarkozy has a son from a previous relationship while Mr Sarkozy has three sons from two prior marriages.
