Pop star Katy Perry, who is in India for her first ever performance at the opening ceremony of fifth season of the Indian Premier League, interacted with media at a hotel in Chennai.

The singer said that she is honoured to be in the country. She tweeted today, "Almost fell asleep in my curry last night, no joke... Woke up feeling so much better after a fresh meditate... feels appropriate being in India."
