Five new faces at Grammys 2013

Mumford and Sons: The audience couldn't stop clapping as Mumford & Sons sang I Will Wait at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards held in Los Angeles. The English folk rock band whose album Babel won the Album Of The Year Grammy, brought down the house with swift guitar notes and heavy foot-thumping tunes.

  • Fun.: Nate Ruess, Andrew Dost and Jack Antonoff had the audience grooving along as they performed their hit Carry On. The band, which took away the Song Of The Year award for We Are Young as well as the Best New Artist award, gave an electrifying performance.
  • Frank Ocean: Winner of the Best Urban Contemporary Album award for his album Channel Orange, Frank Ocean hit the big notes as he performed the song Forrest Gump.
  • Miguel: The Grammy-nominated singer had only a short performance with Wiz Khalifa but delivered a phenomenal rendition of the song Adorn. The colour co-ordinated outfits gave an extra edge to the performance.
  • Carly Rae Jepsen: The Call Me Maybe singer gave a high-octane performance at the 16th Annual Friends ‘N' Family Pre-Grammy Party at Paramount Studios on February 8, 2013.
