Freida and Sonam's Cannes diaries

Freida Pinto and Sonam Kapoor seem to hitting it off pretty well together at the French Riviera from what we can make out in this photograph posted on Instagram by Sonam.

While Freida looks like a dream in a pleasing short green dress, Sonam looks stunning in a a clean-cut color block Huemn and Suhani Pittie sari.

We loved Sonam Kapoor in her floral Dolce & Gabbana on day two of the Cannes Film Festival. And it seems like Sonam loved Freida Pinto in her silver Sanchita dress. Sonam Kapoor will visit the Cannes Film Festival for the third time this year and it looks like the actress is all set to put her best fashion foot forward. She gave us a glimpse of her usual cutting edge style at a L'Oreal event in Mumbai.

Sonam is one of the brand ambassadors of L'Oreal.

Sonam poured herself into a black and metallic Armani Prive dress. She teamed her dress with traditional peacock earrings, giving an Indian touch to her look.

Sonam, in conversation with NDTV, said that she is planning a classic Indian look for Cannes this year.

The actress will be seen in a de-glam look in her upcoming film Raanjhanaa.
