Prince William and Kate Middleton were the guests of honour at the Irish Guards' St Patrick's Day Parade in England on March 17. The Duchess was radiant in a emerald green Hobbs outfit which she accessorised with a black belt and a Gina Foster hat.

Kate Middleton attended a fund raising gala at the National Portrait Gallery in London on Tuesday, February 11. Though the Duchess of Cambridge looked as beautiful and elegant as she usually does, what made her sparkle more than usual was the rare diamond necklace originally belonging to the Nizam of Hyderabad that Kate borrowed from the Queen. Queen Elizabeth received the necklace as a wedding gift when she married the Duke of Edinburgh in November 1947.

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, wore a new hairstyle to watch the Remembrance Day parade in London on Sunday, November 10. While Kate looked extremely beautiful and elegant in a formal black coat by Temperley London with a black hat, what caught our attention were the loose ringlets her long brown hair was styled in.

We saw a more relaxed version of the ringlets on Kate, radiant in a pink LK Bennett's red "Ami" coat, at the Poppy Day Appeal in London on November 7. She looked like she could have stepped into actress Farrah Fawcett's shoes in hit ‘70s TV series Charlie's Angels.

The first official portrait of the former Kate Middleton was unveiled at the National Portrait Gallery in London and has left critics carping. The painting of the Duchess of Cambridge against a dark background has been accused of ageing her by several years.

The real life Kate, who announced her pregnancy last month, was elegant in a simple belted maroon dress from Whistles. And while the portrait may have been given a thumbs down from others, the Duchess diplomatically said, "It's just amazing, I thought it was brilliant."
