Actress Kiara Advani, who made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with Fugly and recently starred in Netflix's Lust Stories, turns 28 today.

Kiara was born Alia Advani to Jagdeep Advani and Genevieve Jaffrey. She has a younger brother Mishaal.

Kiara has predominantly appeared in Hindi and Telugu films. In 2014's Fugly, she co-starred with Mohit Marwah, Vijender Singh, Arfi Lamba and Jimmy Sheirgill.

Kiara later starred opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in M S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016). The film was hugely successful at the box office.

Her first film of 2017 was Abbas-Mustan's Machine, which tanked at the box office. In the film, Kiara and her co-star Mustafa recreated Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon's famous song Tu Cheez Badi.

Telugu political drama Bharat Ane Nenu, in which Kiara co-starred with Mahesh Babu, hit the screens in April in 2018.

Kiara Advani's next project was Telugu film Vinaya Vidheya Rama opposite Ram Charan. She also featured in a special song sequence in Karan Johar's Kalank, which starred Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur in lead roles.

In 2019, Kiara Advani starred alongside Shahid Kapoor in Sandeep Vanga's romantic drama Kabir Singh. The film, a Hindi remake of Mr Vanga's Telugu film Arjun Reddy, released in June and became one of the highest grossing Bollywood film of 2019. The film earned over Rs 200 crore in just 14 days after its release.

Kiara Advani's next film was Good Newwz, co-starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh. She was last seen in Netflix's film Guilty.
