  • Taapsee was born in Delhi in a Sikh family. Taapsee, who is a Computer Science graduate, completed her schooling and college from Delhi. Taapsee entered the film industry after she featured on the reality show Get Gorgeous.

  • Taapsee, who was offered three films even before her debut hit the screens, appeared in seven films in 2011 in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
