Hrithik Roshan's second birthday cake

Hrithik Roshan's 39th birthday merited two cakes. He had a chocolate cake with strawberries on it at his birthday party onboard a yacht, and then this one – also chocolate – at his home in Mumbai.

This second celebration was courtesy media folks, who showed up at Hrithik's residence with cake and flowers. Thanking the media for making his birthday so special, Hrithik said, "Every birthday I don't expect to feel so important. Since my last film Agneepath released a year back, I thought this birthday won't be so special. I didn't know I was still so important."

Enjoy it while it lasts, Hrithik. It's the big 4-0 next year.

Birthday boy Hrithik Roshan still has a hankering for the sea, even after celebrating the new year on a yacht off Bangkok. The actor and his friends brought in his 39th birthday with a party on-board a yacht off the coast of Mumbai. The yacht sailed from the Gateway of India.

The birthday party was organised on a luxury yacht by Hrithik's wife Sussanne Roshan.

Friends Arjun Rampal and Preity Zinta arrived together at the Gateway of India. Arjun was suited up for the party while Preity was dressed in a casual top and pants teamed with a black blazer.
