Kiran Rathod was first seen in Bollywood and made her first appearance as 'Monishka' - Hrithik Roshan's spoilt and wealthy fiancee in Subhash Ghai's film Yaadein.
After a few sporadic appearances in minor films, she moved down south where she appeared in a number of huge hits: Gemini with Vikram, Anbe Sivam with Kamal Hassan, Villain with Ajith Kumar, Winner with Prashanth, and Diwan with Sarath Kumar.
Despite a good start, her career waned from 2004- and she began receiving lesser and lesser offers- as Trisha, Shreya and a number of others took over.
