Hum Saath Saath Hain: It's All About Family For Salman

Superstar Salman Khan reportedly hosted a screening of Hero for his protegees Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty and their families at his farmhouse near Mumbai on September 9. He shared this image from the event which features actor Suniel Shetty and his wife Mana Shetty with Athiya and actor couple Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab with their children Sooraj and Sana, with Salman in a very Hum Saath Saath Hain-like hug.

Sooraj also shared an image of Salman and his mother in heartwarming moment. Recently she told news agency IANS: "Whatever Sooraj is today, is because of Salman."

The original Hero Jackie Shroff also attended the screening. The film is a remake of Subhash Ghai's 1983 film which starred Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Seshadri in lead roles.

Actors Suraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, who are making their film debut with Hero, launched the trailer of the film with its producer, actor Salman Khan, in Mumbai on July 15.

In this picture, Suraj hugs Salman, who he considers his mentor, while Athiya looks on.

An emotional Suraj broke down on the stage after hugging Salman.

Salman Khan shared a light moment with the newcomers who seemed excited about their debut film. Suraj is the son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab. Athiya is the daughter of actor Suniel Shetty and his wife Mana.

Athiya looked pretty in a blue Neha Taneja dress accessorised with a floral belt.

Salman Khan was at his comfortable best in a black shirt, worn with a pair of denims.

Suraj looked handsome with a white shirt paired with denims and a navy blue jacket.

Suraj, Athiya and Salman posed for a photograph with the film's director Nikhil Advani. Hero is a remake of Subhash Ghai's 1983 film of the same name, which featured Jackie Shroff.

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai also attended the launch of the trailer.
