Scarlett Johansson is set to make her Broadway debut
Hollywood starlet Scarlett Johansson is set to make her Broadway debut in Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge, as a 17-year-old girl.
The 24-year-old actress will appear alongside Liev Schreiber in an adaptation of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge which will run in New York's famous theatre district.
Johansson will play the role of Catherine, Liev's character niece, a report said.
In the play, longshoreman Eddie (Liev's character) becomes increasingly obsessed with orphaned Catherine, who he is raising, but she ends up falling for another man sending him on a path of self-destruction.
Johansson, who has been often voted as the sexiest actress in the industry, recently said that the sensuality she brings to her roles comes naturally.
The Iron Man 2 star said, "I don't think about being sexy or being seductive. What you don't want to see is somebody trying to be sexy. That's the most unsexy thing."
Despite having confidence in her talents, Johansson is still shocked every time she lands a role.
"It always shocks me, when I get hired for anything. As soon as one project ends you never think you will get the chance again," the actress said.
