In The Filmy Jungle With Christian Bale, Kareena, Madhuri And Anil Kapoor

The cast of Netflix's Mowgli: Legend Of The Jungle assembled for the world premiere of the film in Mumbai on Sunday night. Hollywood actors Christian Bale and Andy Serkis, who play Bagheera and Baloo respectively, joined the voice cast of the Hindi adaptation of Mowgli at the Yash Raj Studio for the event. Kareena Kapoor, who is the voice of hypnotic python Kaa, looked terrific in Mary Katrantzou sequinned dress.

Madhuri Dixit, who wore a peplum dress from the shelves of Gauri and Nainika, posed with her husband Dr Sriram Nene. Madhuri is the voice of Nisha, a wolf who adopts Mowgli and raises him with her cubs.

Freida Pinto plays Messua, who adopts Mowgli when he re-integrates with humans.

Radhika Apte doesn't star in this Netflix project but she was there to cheer for the team.

Christian Bale arrived with his wife Sibi Blazic.

Anil Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan, Baloo and Bagheera of the Hindi version respectively, were inseparable.

Actor Andy Serkis' plus one was his son Sonny.

Mithila Palkar looked cheerful.

Actress Gul Panag posed for the shutterbugs.

Preeti Jhangiani and Parvin Dabas arrived in twos.

Elli AvrRam paired her bronze t-shirt with complementary striped pants.

Actor Manav Kaul, who was last seen in Netflix's Ghoul, also turned up for the screening.

Freida also invited her parents Frederick and Sylvia Pinto and sister Sharon to the screening.

Before attending the screening, the cast and crew of Mowgli addressed the media at a press conference.

At the press meet, Kareena Kapoor killed it in a black dress by Theia Couture. Madhuri Dixit wore a floral-printed Prabal Gurung outfit while Freida Pinto opted for Vince Camuto separates.
