For the first time in history, the dominating flavour at the Golden Globes was Indian. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was invited specially to present the film Slumdog Millionaire. This made him the first Indian ever to present at the Golden Globes.
Team Slumdog is primarily Indian with A.R Rahman who won the Best Original Score award, Freida Pinto who plays Latika, Anil Kapoor who plays the host of the gameshow and Dev Patel who plays Jamal.
