Indian films at IFFI 2009

The Indian Premier Section will also showcase a selection of eight films during The 40th International Film Festival of India, Goa 2009 from 23rd November till 3rd December 2009.   • <i>And Once Again</i> has Rituparna Sengupta, Rajat Kapoor, Antara Mali, Gerson Decunha, Nivedita Sabooand Yudene Zongtenpa. The film is about Rishi, his wife Savitri who he lost in a violent attack and Manuvela who is the daughter of his psychiatrist, who he later on married. While on a trip to Sikkim, Rishi sees a female monk who resembles his first wife, on investigating it is confirmed that she is Savitri. The film is about dealing with man- woman relationship, about repression of violence, its lingering shadow and various shades, and how we manage to draw a line between our past and present.
