Indian of the Year: Deepika's <i>Jawaani</i>, Ranbir's <i>Deewani</i>

Bollywood's brightest young stars brought a sprinkling of stardust to the NDTV Indian Of The Year Awards in New Delhi on April 29.

Old friends and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani co-stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone had lots to catch up on.

Comparing trophy notes: Deepika won Entertainer Of The Year, Ranbir was named Bollywood Youth Icon.

Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Aamir Khan shared a light moment on stage. Aamir, a self-confessed admirer of Ranbir's work, asked the actor what he thought of before delivering a shot.

The modest Ranbir answered that his mind usually went blank and that he had a "dead brain."

Deepika handed out praise for Ranbir saying he was such a natural actor that he made each scene look effortless notwithstanding the hard work that had gone behind it.
