It's Hug Day! We're celebrating with Salman and Shah Rukh

Another hug? Can it be? Surely a repeat performance of last year's iftaar party clinch between super-Khans and sworn enemies Shah Rukh and Salman would be too much to hope for?

They came, they hugged and they made up. It's Hug Day today and that's reason enough for us to revisit the two most notable hugs of 2013 and 2014. Yes, it's Salman and Shah Rukh square. The once-warring Khans ended (sort of!) their long standing feud by hugging each other at politician Baba Siddique's iftaar party last year. They followed it up with a repeat performance at the Star Guild Awards held on January 16. The two actors had not spoken to each other after a fight at actor Katrina Kaif's birthday party in 2008.

But yes, a hug there was. Watched by a beaming Shehlaa Khan-clad Deepika Padukone, SRK and Salman leaned in and hugged each other on-stage at the Star Guild Awards held in Mumbai on January 16.

And it seems from this picture that they hugged not once, but twice – this time, with SRK clutching his trophy.
But does this signal the end of Khan vs Khan? Despite the public embrace, there's no forgetting that Salman declared that he and SRK would never be friends again on this season of Koffee With Karan and even compared his Karan Arjun co-star to a shark.
However, it was Salman who made the first move at the awards show, bantering with SRK from his position on stage and even congratulating him on the success of 2013 blockbuster Chennai Express.
