Karisma, who looked beautiful in a red outfit, paid a tribute to the strong and independent women of the Kapoor clan – her grand-aunt Geeta Bali, aunt Neetu Singh, mother Babita and sister Kareena.

Speaking to NDTV after her performance, Karisma said that family plays a very important role in changing attitudes towards girls and that parents should realise that they need to treat the girl child at par with her brother.
