You can love her or hate her but you just can't ignore socialite Kim Kardashian. Lets look at the highlights of her life as she turns 35 today.

Kim was born on October 21, 1980, in Los Angeles to attorney Robert Kardashian and wife Kris. She has an older sister Kourtney, a younger sister Khloe, and a younger brother Rob.

After her parents divorced in 1991, Kim got half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner from her mother's marriage to the 1976 Summer Olympics decathlon winner Bruce Jenner, who is now known as Caitlyn Jenner, after Gender transition earlier this year.

Kim rose to fame when she first starred in the E! television reality series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians in October, 2007 with her two sisters Kourtney and Khloe, mother Kris, brother Robert, half-sisters Kendall and Kylie, and stepfather Bruce Jenner.

Kim and family signed a $40 million deal with the E! Network for three new seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, making the deal the richest contract in reality TV history.

In 2008, Kim made her feature film debut with Disaster Movie. The same year, she was one of the contestants on the seventh season of Dancing with the Stars.

The reality show star made a cameo appearance on popular TV series How I Met Your Mother in the episode Benefits in 2009. Kim was also a guest judge on the show America's Next Top Model the same year.

In 2015, Kim Kardashian was been approached to play the main lead in Faisal Saif's upcoming erotic thriller For Adults Only.

She was also supposed to visit India last year and make an appearance on Big Boss 8, but due to visa issues, her trip was cancelled.

In 2010, Kim's wax statue was unveiled at the Madame Tussauds museum in New York. In 2015, Kim, who is called the selfie queen, made it to Madame Tussauds London in style. Hers is the first selfie taking wax installation.

Kim is also a fashion enthusiast, who co-owns various clothing lines - 'D-A-S-H', 'K-Dash' and the 'Kardashian Kollection' - with her sisters Kourtney and Khloe. She also owns a fragrance line launched in 2010. The three Kardashian sisters have also designed jewellery in the past.

Kim began dating rapper Kanye West in April 2012 after two failed marriages.

Kim was married to songwriter Damon Thomas from 2000-2004 and NBA player Kris Humphries, whom she married in 2011 but filed for a divorce within 72 days of marriage.

Kim announced she was expecting her first child with Kanye in December 2012.
