Kyunki Minister Bhi Kabhi Actress Thi: The Humshakals Meet Smriti Irani

The Humshakals team is on a promotions spree. Lead actors Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor, and director Sajid Khan were flying to Delhi when they bumped into actress and HRD minister Smriti Irani. Ms Irani became a household name after starring in Balaji soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.Humshakals also stars Bipasha Basu, Esha Gupta and Tamannaah Bhatia.

Madhuri Dixit, who is judging the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa for the fourth time, made one of her more impressive appearances fashion-wise at the taping of an episode with the cast of Humshakals. Madhuri looked svelte in a black dress with cutouts, statement neckpiece and a bright red lip.

It's safe to say that the combined charms of Team Humshakals - of which only half were present - couldn't compete with Madhuri's loveliness. Actors Saif Ali Khan and Riteish Deshmukh and director Sajid Khan did their best but they were sorely missing co-star Ram Kapoor and their leading ladies - Bipasha Basu, Tammannah Bhatia and Esha Gupta.

There was certainly no lack of effort, presided over by Jhalak hosts Ranvir Shorey and Drashti Dhami.

Director Sajid Khan showed off his dance moves on the reality show.

And was rewarded by this extreme display of affection from Riteish.

Drashti won Jhalak last season and there's no doubting her talent. But Ranvir looks like he has two left feet in this picture.

Off-stage, Riteish shared a laugh with judge Karan Johar.

Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor was also appearing on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, looking like just what the doctor ordered in a sunny, flowy Arpita Mehta jumpsuit. Shraddha was promoting her new movie Ek Villain.

Prachi Desai, who makes an appearance in the song Awari in Ek Villain, wore the black midriff-baring outfit from the item number and looked like a total knockout.

Sadly, nobody was looking at Ek Villain hero Sidharth Malhotra, overshadowed in his hoodie by the two ladies he was accompanying.
