Lata Mangeshkar's big win on her 82nd birthday

Legendary playback singer Lata Mangeshkar was honoured with the first Hridaynath award for her contribution to Indian music on her 82nd birthday (September 28).
Presenting her the award, a cheque of Rs one lakh and a shawl was megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
And we can't think of a better way to usher in the new year for India's nightingale.
