This year, the party was hosted by Malayalam star Mohanlal at his beach-front home in Injambakkam, some distance from Chennai, on January 18. The Hawaii-themed party meant that the dress code called for cheerful prints and colourful garlands.

Rajinikanth's was reportedly an unexpected presence as he had first RSVP-ed to say he couldn't make it to the party because of his busy schedule.
