Bhoot Returns is directed by Ram Gopal Varma, who is famous for psychological and experimental thrillers like Satya, Kaun and Ek Hasina Thi.
Apart from Manisha Koirala, Bhoot Returns stars Satya actor J D Chakravarthy. The Telugu actor has also appeared in Ram Gopal Varma's Vaastu Shastra and RGV ki Aag.
The film also stars Telugu actress Madhu Shalini playing an important role. She made her Bollywood debut in Ram Gopal Varma's Department. Child star Alayana Sharma plays a central role in the movie.
The music of the film is composed by brothers Salim and Sulaiman Merchant.
Ram Gopal Varma wanted the title Bhoot 2 for the movie but since it was registered with producer Nitin Manmohan's company and they refused to part with it, he went ahead and named the movie Bhoot Returns.
Bhoot Returns will be released in Tamil and Telugu too.
It is Ram Gopal Varma's first 3D film.
Bhoot Returns will be releasing on 12 October, 2012.
