"We do discuss marriage but this is not the right time because Saif is busy in his production house and I am getting very good roles. So marriage can wait," said Kareena at the HT Leadership Summit on Saturday.
The two have never hidden their love for each other and in fact after her much-publicised break up with ex Shahid Kapur the two have always been spotted together.
Saif met Kareena for the first time when she was just 14 years old and more than a decade later he fell in love with her.
Saif believes: "People say that marriage doesn't affect your career but the fact is it does. Today the whole definition of marriage has changed. We are so well connected, so close that marriage is just a stamp of validation for the society.
"I love her for what she is. We manage to spend a lot of time together and this is the most important factor to make a relationship work."
The real life couple will now play reel life husband wife in their forthcoming film Kurbaan based on the issue of terrorism. Hope this onscreen marriage transforms into real life too.
