Mars attacks? Sonakshi new extra-terrestrial friends

Sonakshi Sinha's co-stars in upcoming fantasy-adventure film, Joker are out of this world. They's aliens.

On publicity duty for the film, Sonakshi said, "I think our film's uniqueness itself is our USP. The aliens are being liked all over and we are getting a good response. I like sci-fi books and movies. The script excited me and I think such a genre has not been attempted before. It was a very different experience for me."

Shirish Kunder has posted yet another picture of Sonakshi Sinha from his upcoming movie, Joker on Twitter. Dressed in a vibrant green sari. hot pink blouse, plastic sunglasses and an outsized flower in her hair, Sonakshi is a desi delight.

Joker is an upcoming fantasy adventure film and the first 3D film directed by Shirish Kunder.

Cast of the film: Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Shreyas Talpade, Jaaved Jaaferi, Minnisha Lamba, Asrani, Sanjay Mishra and Vindu Dara Singh

Joker is the fourth Bollywood film to be released in both 2D and 3D formats after Haunted 3D, Ra.One and Don 2.

Sonakshi will be seen opposite Akshay. Sonakshi will also perform an item number in the film.

Shreyas Talpade is playing the role of Akshay's brother in the film. Minnisha Lamba will be the female lead opposite to Shreyas.

Akshay Kumar will be doing some fire stunts in the movie. Director Shirish tweeted, "Akshay Kumar surprises everyone by doing the daring fire stunt himself."

The film is majorly shot in Chandigarh and Mumbai. The film is set to release on 30 August, 2012.
