Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Malaika Arora, Diana Penty and Parineeti Chopra walked the ramp wearing Manish Malhotra outfits. Nita Ambani and boxer Mary Kom were unexpected but no less glamorous faces on the ramp.
Mijwan works for the empowerment of the girl child in rural India, and this is the third year running of Mijwan Sonnets In Fabric.

The very pretty Dia Mirza walked the ramp in a pink and golden anarkali. She tweeted: "Aaj ki shyam MIJWAN WELFARE SOCIETY ke naam! Kudos @ManishMalhotra1 and @AzmiShabana BRILLIANT SHOW!. The rain did not dampen our spirits or deter us from taking the ramp in aid of the girl child. #MijwanWelfareSociety"
