Meow! Anushka steals Kat's ad deal

Rumour suggests Band Baajaa Baraat beauty Anushka Sharma slashed her fees to steal a scooter ad campaign from Katrina Kaif.

According to a source: The two-wheeler company wanted Katrina to be their brand ambassador but couldn't afford her whopping Rs 6 crore fee. Anushka's name cropped up but her quoted price of Rs 4 crores also proved too high. Anushka, who wanted the deal desperately, is then reported to have slashed her fees further and bagged the campaign.

30 years after the alleged Amitabh-Rekha-Jaya triangle was played out on screen in Silsila, it seems that the Jaya vs Rekha war has been renewed, with a contemporary twist. When actress Rekha was nominated to the Rajya Sabha last week, industry watchers and wags speculated that Jaya Bachchan, Samajwadi Party MP in the Upper House, could not have been thrilled by the news. Now, records show that Mrs Bachchan has formally requested a change in the seating plan in the Rajya Sabha. She is currently assigned seat 91 and Rekha was given seat 99, which may have been too close for comfort.

Aamir found it funny that 'Shah Rukh' was licking his feet but SRK certainly didn't. The two had managed to make up, but like public memory their new friendship was shortlived.

Big brother Arya Babbar has lashed out at Prateik for his recent remarks on the Bachchans, and he claims to speak for his family.

The enmity between the Bachchan khandaan and the Babbars is age old and stretched from movies to politics. So it was a shock to many, and obviously the Babbar parivaar, when younger son Prateik stated in an interview that in Abhishek Bachchan he saw a big brother. This, after he dropped the Babbar surname.

What is not shocking one bit, is the very verbal disapproval that Arya has for his kid brother now, even going to the extent of saying that Prateik pulls off all sorts of stunts for publicity and he wouldn't be surprised if he next calls someone else his father. We can only assume he's talking about Big B.

Thus, there was sweet revenge for Priyanka, when she was invited for the show along with Shahid Kapoor and was asked about Kareena's question to which the pretty actress gave a very tongue in cheek answer. Priyanka said she had got her accent from the same place where Saif Ali Khan, Kareena's boyfriend had got his.Meow!
