Michelle Obama joins Twitter

First Lady Michelle Obama is on Twitter, mustering more than 20,000 followers within an hour.

Mrs Obama's Twitter feed is managed by President Obama's re-election campaign, with any tweets from the First Lady herself to be signed "-mo."

Michelle Obama tweeted for the first time, "Hi, everyone, and thanks for the warm welcome. Look forward to staying in touch with you here. -mo"

Ratan Tata: Chairman of Tata Group Ratan N Tata has also become regular on Twitter. Recently Mr Tata expressed concern over the political stalemate in the country on Twitter.
