Apparently Nicole sent provocative pictures of herself to director Lee Daniels to convince him that she was the right person to play a sex-crazed woman in The Paperboy, which received mixed reviews in Cannes.
Born to Dr. Antony David Kidman and Janelle Ann, Australian Nicole Kidman attended a local theatre group during her school days and was encouraged by director Jane Campion to pursue acting.
Nicole began her showbiz career in 1983 aged 16 in Australian films and television productions. She shot to international fame with movies like Days of Thunder , Far and Away and Batman Forever.
She made her first public appearance with new boyfriend, country singer Keith Urban, at the Grammy Awards in 2006 and the couple were married on June 25 the same year.
Nicole and Keith welcomed their first child, daughter Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, in July 2008 and their second daughter, Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, was born in December 2010.
