Padma honours for Rajesh Khanna, Sharmila Tagore, Sridevi
Rajesh Khanna, Padma Bhushan: The list of civilian honours for this year has been announced and features Rajesh Khanna, star of ‘70s movies like Anand, Amar Prem, Aradhana and Namak Haram. Mr Khanna, who died on July 18, 2012, will receive the Padma Bhushan, India's third highest civilian award.

Sharmila Tagore, Padma Bhushan: Rajesh Khanna's co-star in films Aradhana and Amar Prem, Ms Tagore will also receive the Padma Bhushan. Ms Tagore, who served as chief of the Censor Board till 2011, appeared in many of the biggest hits of the ‘70s including Kashmir Ki Kali and An Evening In Paris.

Sridevi, Padma Shri: Sridevi, who made her comeback on the silver screen last year with English Vinglish, will receive the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award. Sridevi was one of the top actresses of the ‘80s and starred in super hit movies like Himmatwala, Chandni and Chaalbaaz.

Rahul Dravid, Padma Bhushan: Cricketer Rahul Dravid, who retired from Test and domestic cricket last year, will receive the Padma Bhushan.

Ramesh Sippy, Padma Shri: Director of landmark Bollywood film Sholay, Mr Sippy will receive the Padma Shri.

Mary Kom, Padma Bhushan: Magnificent Mary won a bronze for boxing at the London Olympics in 2012, the first year that women's boxing was made part of the Games.

Jaspal Bhatti, Padma Bhushan: Comedian Jaspal Bhatti died in a road accident on October 25, 2012. He was beloved for golden age of Doordarshan era TV shows Ulta Pulta and Flop Show.

Adi Godrej, Padma Bhushan: Industrialist and businessman Adi Godrej represents trade and industry on the list.

Nana Patekar, Padma Shri: Actor Nana Patekar, who won the National Film Award for his roles in 1990 film Parinda and 1995 film Krantiveer, will receive the Padma Shri.

Yogeshwar Dutt, Padma Shri: Wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt, who won the bronze medal at the London Olympics in 2012, will receive the Padma Shri.

Dingko Singh, Padma Shri: Boxer Dingko Singh won the gold medal at 1998 Asian Games. He will receive the Padma Shri.

Vijay Kumar, Padma Shri: Shooter Major Vijay Kumar, who won the silver medal in the individual 25 metre rapid fire pistol event at the London Olympics 2012, will receive the Padma Shri.
