Coming up: When Farhan went back to school

Farhan Akhtar, who is racing ahead with the success of his latest outing Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, relived some of his childhood memories on a visit to his alma mater, the Maneckji Cooper School in Mumbai on July 19, 2013.

Only this time, the actor-filmmaker went back to promote his movie and seems like he had a gala time too with the students.

Farhan obliged as many students as possible by shaking hands with them.

He even took to Twitter and wrote: "Went back to my school to unveil a Bhaag Milkha Bhaag cover notebook. Flooded with memories. Still smiling."

The actor, who essays former athlete Milkha Singh in the biopic, directed by filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, further wrote: "My school motto and Milkhaji's philosophy are the same - 'There is no excellence without labour'... So what better place to do this activity."

The actor also posed with the students for a group photograph.

After all that running, it was party time for the Bhaag Milkha Bhaag team on Wednesday (July 17, 2013) in Mumbai. The film has been racing ahead at the box-office.
