PK and Jaggu Throw Earthlings a Party to Remember

Aamir Khan's 2014 blockbuster PK has been shattering records in China and a party was thus held in Mumbai on June 11.

Aamir, who played the alien PK in the film, led his leading lady Anushka Sharma (Jagat Janini or Jaggu), who looked fabulous in black Michael Kors, down the red carpet that was rolled out for many of Bollywood's great and good.

The greats included Piku actress Deepika Padukone who got into the spirit of things with the bandwallahs who were welcoming guests. (Aside - Piku minus its vowels is PK after all).

Kangana Ranaut, minus her signature curls, channeled a vintage look in colour blocked Valentino.

Deepika and rumoured boyfriend Ranveer Singh got jiggy with Aamir.

The sight of Aamir, dressed for the occasion in Chinese-style tunic and pants, appeared to have caught his producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra by surprise.

Serenaded by the band, Amitabh Bachchan posed for a picture with Anushka, the film's director Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

PK actor Sushant Singh Rajput showed off to girlfriend Ankita Lokhande who seemed a little unwilling to be impressed.

Aamir's family showed up in full strength. Wife Kiran Rao wore a nifty black and white outfit.

Ex-wife Reena Dutta and their daughter Ira accompanied Aamir's mother Zeenat.

Also in attendance were Aamir's actor nephew Imran Khan and his wife Avantika, who posed for a picture with their mothers Nuzhat and Vandana.

Actor Sharman Joshi, who worked with Aamir and Rajkumar Hirani in 3 Idiots, was also invited.

Lyricist Javed Akhtar was there too.

Vidhu also posed for a happy picture with his film critic wife Anupama Chopra.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag director Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra posed for a picture with Bhushan Kumar of T-Series.

Singer Shaan and his wife Radhika seemed to be having a good time.
