Prabhu Deva confirms wedding with Nayanthara
Original named Diana Mariam Kurian, ace southern actress Nayanthara has converted from Christianity to Hinduism.
She converted to Hinduism at the Arya Samaj temple in Chennai but has retained her screen name.
While the actress says that her decision to convert to Hinduism is personal, many are bound to see it as a step towards her impending marriage to actor, choreographer and director Prabhu Deva, who had divorced his wife earlier this year.
Incidentally, members of Prabhu Deva's family are devotees of the Suttur Mutt in Mysore.

Ending all speculation, actor-director and ace choreographer Prabhu Deva has finally confirmed his wedding to actress Nayanthara.
Speaking to NDTV, Prabhu Deva said he will marry the Southern sensation soon.
"Nayanthara and I will get married. Will announce date at the right time," the actor said.
A star close to the couple has said that Prabhu will only get married after Vedi is released on September 29.
"We want to get married with blessings of our parents," the actor said. Prabhu Deva, however, made a candid confession saying that the actress had sacrificed a lot for their relationship. Recently, the actress had converted to Christianity.
"Nayanthara is open to doing good roles till wedding," he added.
