Rani and Aditya: Bollywood's most private love story

After years of 'will they or won't they', actress Rani Mukerji and Yash Raj Films scion Aditya Chopra were finally married in Italy on Monday, April 21. Rani and Aditya have been allegedly dating for many years now, but have always taken pains to keep their relationship private. Here are some occasions when we spotted Rani with Aditya or at events organised by Yash Raj Films (YRF).

Rani looked gorgeous in a purple sari embroidered with gold and antique jewellery at Aditya Chopra's Diwali party in Mumbai in November 2013.

We also spotted Rani and now mother-in-law Pamela Chopra in earnest conversation.

The same month, we sighted Rani at the opening of the flagship store of Di'vani, the fashion line inspired by Bollywood and Yash Chopra's films, in New Delhi. The actress even wore white in memory of the director and shared a warm hug with Pamela at the launch. Mr Chopra died at the age of 80 on October 21, 2012.

Rani was the cynosure of all eyes as she walked the ramp at Yash Chopra's 81st birth anniversary celebration on September 27, 2013 at Yash Raj Films Studios in Mumbai.

Rani, Aditya almost give the cameras the slip, but not quite, as they made their way together to a party at actor Aamir Khan's home on June 22, 2013.

Here's another of those moments in which we finally managed to catch Rani and Aditya on film, stepping out of a restaurant in Mumbai late at night in January 2013.

In March 2013, Rani again fuelled rumours of a secret engagement to Aditya Chopra when she was spotted with a big rock on her finger at a cocktail party organised by dermatologist Rekha Seth in Mumbai.

The actress couldn't hold back her tears at the unveiling of a statue of Yash Chopra in February, 2012. In this picture, she stands next to now brother-in-law Uday Chopra.

Rani attended the prayer meet for Yash Chopra on October 25, 2013 with Aditya's friend and her Kuch Kuch Hota Hai director Karan Johar.

Rani and Aditya were also sighted together at Yash Chopra's funeral in October 2012. There too, Rani and Aditya maintained their distance.
