Ready, steady, party: Shah Rukh, Deepika

After Chennai Express promotion-overload, it was party time for the team, a day before the release of the film. Stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone were seen with director Rohit Shetty and actor Nikitin Dheer in Mumbai on Wednesday (August 7, 2013).

While Shah Rukh was casual in T-shirt and denims, Deepika chose high street cred in a white pantsuit and polka-dotted top.

Looks like Shah Rukh and Deepika can't wait to get the party started.

Before the party, King Khan was seen promoting Chennai Express at an event in Mumbai.

…this is why. SRK doing the bhangra impromptu in a sari-lungi and sunglasses might just be the funniest thing we've seen in a while. Deepika, who looked just peachy in a white and gold sari (draped in the conventional, non-lungi style), seemed to be having a hard time keeping a straight face.

SRK and Deepika were in Chennai to promote their new film on August 2.

Ahead - Couture Express: Shah Rukh, Deepika

Designer Manish Malhotra chose Chennai Express stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone as his showstoppers for the last day at the PCJ Delhi Couture Week, held in New Delhi on Sunday (August 4, 2013).

Deepika was drop-dead-gorgeous in a navy blue velvet zardozi lehenga teamed with full-sleeved choli from the designer's 1930s inspired wedding collection, while King Khan kept it simple and looked dapper in a black suit.

Deepika's midnight outfit was set off by her red lips and a statement neckpiece.

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone were in Dubai to promote their upcoming film Chennai Express and overwhelmed by the love of his Dubai fans, SRK tweeted this picture, saying "Heard Pakeeza song in the car. Our version of it. Aapke haath bahut sundar hain..sirf Dua mein uthaiyega..Bye Dubai."
