As the newest daredevil gameshow Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao faces a major hitch, we recollect all the controversy-ridden reality shows.

Actor Akashdeep Singh, a participant of Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao got badly injured during a task in which his face was covered with a plastic bag full of insects. Akashdeep was badly stung and he, along with most other participants, has reportedly left the show out of fear.

Most would remember the Jade Goody-Shilpa Shetty face off on Celebrity Big Brother where Jade Goody hurled racist comments at Shilpa Shetty. Images of a crying Shilpa and reports of all the expletives directed towards her are now legendary.

Things can go horribly wrong even in something as seemingly safe as a talent show. A young contestant of a Bengali TV show, Shinjini was faced with some brutal comments from the judges, which lead to an emotional and physical breakdown of sorts, landing her in hospital, battling for life.

A young participant on Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi called Anjar Khan badly miscalculated a task and ended up severely injured and in hospital struggling to survive.

It isn't just participants who make the news on reality TV, but also the judges. Recently Alka Yagnik and Abhijit got into a spat over a little ritual that Abhijit performed but Alka didn't appreciate. Finally, she got so irritated that she picked the tumbler of holy water and emptied it over Abhijit's head.

When stars live in the same house for three months, there are bound to be sparks and that is exactly what happened on Bigg Boss. Rahul Mahajan got close to actress-singer Monica Bedi and there were rumours of an affair, especially since the two tried to escape the house. The two denied romance rumours, and the denial became stronger after Monica Bedi's ex, underworld don Abu Salem warned Rahul Mahajan to stay away from her.
